Is there anyone else out there who finds him/herself constantly focusing on his/her failures? Shortcomings? Does anyone want to band together to remind ourselves of all the good we do, every day?
What I'd like is to meet for a short, easy-going circle once a week to share our journals of loving acts. We'll all just write down every incident we notice of ourselves being generous and likeable, and share them with each other.
Is anyone doing something like this? Does anyone want to start?
Love,

Re: Positivity Support Group, anyone?
Tue, August 14, 2007 - 9:27 PMI recently joined a very positive church that is a lot like that.
Please feel free to share with us your acts of generousity.
Someone at work ( I have a temp job at a non-profit) told me I was doing really well with this data base I am setting up and that I was very encouraging on the phone with the childcare providers I have to call up to set up this new system with.
And a friend I wasn't feeling very close to , called me and we talked, so that was nice.
And I called my old boss to see if she would write me a recomendation for grad school. I don't know why I was so afraid to ask. She said she would write me a good recomendation. So there's a good deal of positivity there. -

It sounds like you are reaping the benefits of some hard work, and karma for being friendly to others. With that kind of attitude, grad school should be a breeze for you!

Wed, August 15, 2007 - 7:23 PMyeah , I think grad school may be the biggest undertaking I will have ever under tooken, no wonder I am dragging my feet on some aspects of it. It scares me ! but it's the next step, so I've got to do it.
